This is a contract role through end of year with an opportunity to convert.Please apply to the posting if you're interested in learning more.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and control activities related to data planning and repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing requirements to develop and design database strategies and information systems monitoringBuild database schemas, tables, and dictionaries conforming to industry standardsCreate functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application developmentETL (extract, transform, load) workflow management. Design, Build, and Monitor ETLs processes implemented as TSQL scripts, bcp jobs, or C# apps and Restful APIs.Work with SQL and other database access tools and methods to address business requirements while maintaining control, integrity, and accessibility of dataCapacity for developing PowerBI dashboards and reports using PowerBI Report Builder to meet the needs of stakeholders ranging from production staff to executivesProvides support to other internal teams on database functions including maintenance, development and performance enhancementPossess working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end toolsContinuously increase data coverage by working closely with subject matter experts to automate and streamline reporting across the organizationLead on technical projects including analysis, planning and developing requirements and standardsCommunicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiencesOversee troubleshooting of system issuesAssist in developing and maintaining data standards, data flows, new data requirement specifications, and test cases for QACollaborate with leadership to create and promote a data-driven cultureSupport audits and data quality reviewsResearches and evaluates software, system upgrades and enhancements, and provides technical recommendations. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsMaintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank's policies and proceduresQualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of database administration and TSQL development experience working in a SQL Server environmentDevelop and maintain data warehouse objectsExperience working with Extraction Transform Load (ETL) software or solutionsMust have 6 years of working within Data Warehouse environmentsExperience with both hosted and cloud based services including Azure and AWSMicrosoft SQL Server 2016+ and Azure SQLStrong TSQL and C# experience, familiarity with REST APIs, PostmanEffective written and oral communicationThe ability to establish and maintain cooperatives and effective working relationships with othersAbility to adapt quickly and to balance between attention to detail and strategic visionRequired Skills: Must Have: 5+ years of Data Architect experience Azure Data Factory – top must have skill *Azure Data Factory is the mechanism for doing all the ETL processes that load data Loading data from multiple sources – biggest part of the project SSIS Strong TSQL skills Stored procedures, triggers, views, etc. (this will be done every day) Nice-to-Have: PowerBI Report Developer PowerAutomate Logic Apps, PowerApps, etc.
