Veterinary Assistant to be a Technician

Park Mall Animal Clinic in Plano, TX is hiring a full-time or part-time motivated veterinary assistant. We are willing to train the right person to be a veterinary technician. And, training will start immediately. We have top of the line Radiology equipment and Dental scaling machine. We strive to give our clients AND patients the best care around, as well as working with the rescue community to give every animal a chance at a life. We are a small clinic that is currently growing daily and making improvements every day! Requirements: -Less than 1 year experience -Good restraint skills -Well organized and fast pace -Strong work ethic - Rotating Saturday’s availability - Great personality -Must be able to lift and restrain up to 40lbs -Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time -Able to pass a background check and a drug test -Authorization to work in the U.S *Bilingual is a plus! Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: -Client/patient relations within the clinic -Client education- communicate treatment plans, homecare instructions, or appointment information -Assist the doctor- In appointments, surgery, diagnostics, etc. -Restrain- safely and securely -Daily cleaning and origination.
