Tourism Analyst
Would you like to be part of the PROMPERÚ team in Los Angeles?The PROMPERÚ Office in Los Angeles is seeking to hire a Tourism Analyst (hybrid position).REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree or professional degree (or equivalent) in economics, business administration, marketing, communications, tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, or related fields.Specialized courses and/or programs: A minimum of seventy (70) accumulated hours of training in business management, commercial management, business plans, tourism and hotel operations or similar areas, digital marketing, sustainability management, strategic planning, or commercial management.Proficiency in office management software (Office, Google Drive. etc.).Proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.EXPERIENCEMinimum of four (04) years of general experience (public and/or private sector).Minimum of three (03) years of specific experience in the tourism industry and tourism promotion (public and/or private sector).RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in the design and planning of tourism promotion strategies and actions in the priority markets managed by the Promperú Office in Los Angeles in accordance with institutional guidelines.Participate in the execution of tourism promotion activities established in the Institutional Operational Plan for the priority markets managed by the Promperú Office in Los Angeles, following institutional guidelines.Participate in research on the behavior of the markets managed by the Promperú Office in Los Angeles and the tourism opportunities available for Peru, identifying segments and niches, as well as generating market intelligence information.Participate in developing a network of contacts with tour operators and tourism-related entities that are relevant for tourism promotion in the priority markets managed by the Promperú Office in Los Angeles.Advise and provide technical assistance in responding to inquiries from tourism institutions and companies in the markets managed by the PROMPERU Office in Los Angeles, as well as Peruvian tourism companies and institutions.Participate in training sessions and seminars about Peru as a tourism destination in the priority markets managed by the Promperú Office in Los Angeles.Perform other duties assigned by the Director of PROMPERU Office in Los Angeles within the scope of their responsibilitiesCandidates who meet the required profile should send their resume to the following email address: ycamacho@promperu.gob.peApplications will be accepted until May 20, 2026.Interviews will held on May 22 and May 26.
