Visit us at www.hmkco.org for more information.We are currently looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and task-driven Project Administrator/Contract Specialist to handle all the pertinent construction documents and paperwork related to our projects. From the start of each project, the Project Administrator/Contract Specialist works closely with the Program and Project Managers to understand the timelines and ensure all documentation is processed and completed within the time-frames set forth. This position is located in our Salem, Oregon office. Construction experience is preferred, but not required.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate, prepare and generate all project procurement documentsCollect, compile, review and organize monthly program reports from PMsReceive, record and facilitate recommendations for processing payment requestsEnsure adherence to procurement requirements and HMK processesCorrespond with clients and subconsultantsVarious administrative tasks to support the Project TeamUnderstand the importance of priorities for the projects and act on the most important tasksMust take the initiative to connect with PMs and other project members to collect the correct data and info. QualificationsAbility to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely mannerKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office productsMulti-task and prioritize competing requestsDeliver quality through attention to detailAbility to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systemsKnowledge of construction industry terminology and documents is preferredCollaborate and communicate within a team, internally and externallyMust be organized and thorough
