Methuen campusAs the Surgical Aide, you will be asked to assist in patient care and sanitation in the Surgical Services Department under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.Duties and Responsibilities:Performs procedures relating to the basic care of the Surgical Services patient and also technical and ancillary duties related to patient careMaintains a clean and safe environment to insure safe and efficient operation of the unitRotating weekend calls from 7am-3:30pmMinimum Qualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalent requiredHandling weekend calls from 7am to 3:30pm (rotating schedule) is required.BLS RequiredPreferred:At least one year prior OR Attendant experience or other related healthcare experienceMerrimack Health is a private, nonprofit community hospital providing the Merrimack Valley & southern New Hampshire regions with patient-centered, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare for the whole family.
