Job Description Shaughnessy Overland Express is a small business in Naples, FL. We are professional, challenging, supportive and our goal is to maintain our fleet of 10 specialty built 53-foot Kentucky Enclosed trailers. Also, to keep all our equipment safe and DOT compliant. This includes some maintenance on our fleet of 10 leased Penske new model (2020 to 2023) Volvo Power Units.Starting Pay and additional bonus opportunityStarting pay based on experience and skillsBonus opportunitiesQualificationsAutomotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledgeExperience in assigning jobs to a teamMonitoring and replacing tires on the units as neededProficiency in using hand tools for vehicle maintenanceKnowledge of transmissions, air brakes, alignment, hydraulics, and suspensionFamiliarity with heavy equipment operationStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage a team effectivelyThere are daily reports from drivers on the road and you would be responsible for tracking repairs and replacing equipment the drivers report.
