Architect/Project Manager - Commercial/Industrial

Job Description Engineering firm looking to add Architect/Project Manager with Commercial/Industrialexperience to their team!Responsibilities:Outline project approach and assist with developing fees for project proposalsLead programming efforts with a focus on customer serviceLead architecture design while working with internal design teams to develop innovative/functional designsMentor/train junior staffIdentify potential risks and look for alternative strategies to mitigate themEnsure projects comply with local building codes and zoning regulationsIncorporate best practicesHandle construction administration, contractor questions, and RFI responsesDevelop construction documents/specifications for commercial projects (industrial, warehouse, data center or distribution center projects)Work directly with the client providing timely updates on project status and discussing project scopeCoordinate with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling, and trackingRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture8+ years of commercial architectureKnowledgeable in code/materials and methods commonly used in the industrial, manufacturing, and distribution center projectsExperience with specification writingConstruction administration experienceValid Driver's License is requiredSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
