Respiratory TherapistWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Morristown, New Jersey. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.As a Respiratory Therapist at Morristown Post Acute, you will be responsible for:Providing respiratory care services to patients with a variety of diagnoses and needs, including those with cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary issuesPerforming respiratory therapies, such as aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation, as ordered by physiciansCollaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that optimize patient outcomesMonitoring patients' respiratory status and reporting changes to the healthcare teamParticipating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices and optimal patient careResponsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans for respiratory careImplement and monitor respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatmentsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plansParticipate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plansProvide respiratory education to patients and families, as neededContribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and reportsRequirements:Licensure/Certification: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification requiredWhat We Offer:A dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and professional developmentCompetitive salary and benefits package (to be determined)If you are a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply to this role.
