Assembler

Description: Job Summary: Assemble products by hand and /or with machinery, and various hand tools. The position will require a responsible person with good productivity, mechanical ability. Function of Position: Assemble or pack product in a production environment Test or inspect product Some light machining such as reaming, drilling and tapping Work with Foreman, Inspection and Design personnel to insure quality parts Cleaning, inventory, maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed Requirements: Skills: Must follow written and verbal instructions Must have good basic math skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have some Windows PC experience Ability to communicate and work with people in office, factory, and inspection Must work well independently and in a team environment MUST be safety oriented Ability to read and interpret calipers, and blueprints a plus Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in manufacturing preferred, but will train the right individual Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
