Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Visualization Engineer based in San Antonio, TX. The Data Visualization Engineer will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining interactive data visualizations that translate complex data sets into actionable insights. Daily tasks include optimizing visualizations for usability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key insights, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The Data Visualization Engineer will also contribute to the development and integration of new visualization solutions to support operational planning and decision-making processes. Qualifications Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.jsProficiency in programming languages including Python, R, or JavaScriptKnowledge of database management systems and SQL for data retrieval and manipulationUnderstanding of UI/UX principles to create intuitive and user-friendly visualizationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision makingExperience with big data platforms and tools is a plusAbility to communicate technical information to non-technical audiencesBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be consideredEligibility for security clearance is required given the nature of T3i's operations
