The Director will oversee all functions of Digital Ad Operations including execution of digital media campaigns, driving innovation in ad operations, analytics and data strategy. This role requires deep expertise in marketing technology, strategic leadership, and the ability to collaborate with senior executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesLead strategic conversations with senior clients and internal teams on ad technology and data managementDefine and implement technology roadmaps that improve operational efficiency, media performance, and data qualityOversee the integration of emerging technologies into media strategies, ensuring alignment with business goalsAct as a key advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations on ad technology and media executionStay ahead of industry trends, advising on new opportunities, risks, and innovationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and media partners. Staying abreast of emerging tools and technology, ensuring agency and clients are using the right solutionsDevelop and implement robust QA systems and tooling for monitoring and troubleshootingEnsure timely execution of campaigns, holding internal teams and external partners accountable for deliverablesManage and mentor a team of Associate Directors, Managers, and Analysts, fostering career growth and technical expertiseSupport VP and SVP of Ad Operations to influence team culture, shape communication, engagement, and innovationQualificationsB.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science or related field highly preferred8+ years of experience in digital media, ad technology, or related field3+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing teamsStrong client management skills with experience presenting to and advising senior executivesExpertise in ad serving platforms (GMP, Innovid, XR), DMPs, DSPs, verification tools (IAS, DV), and TMS (GTM, Tealium, Adobe Launch)Ability to navigate complex technology ecosystems and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExamples of tools and applications specific to each side of the practice includeKnowledge of the working relationships with second- and third-party vendorAdditional InformationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
