Neonatologist
Overview
We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established and highly respected team at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
Annual deliveries: 3,400–3,900
Annual NICU admissions: 370–400
Average daily census: 25–29 infants
Lead and manage a 35‑bed Level III NICU, providing full‑service neonatal care including:
High‑frequency ventilation
Therapeutic hypothermia
Well‑baby rounding two weeks per month in collaboration with the Family Medicine Residency Program
Supportive team structure of 4 Neonatologists:
One week on service
Every other night call
One week off
24/7 NNP coverage
Strong subspecialty support including Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, and collaboration with a 3‑physician MFM team
A South Carolina medical license is preferred but not required to apply
