Title: UiPath Developer/System Programmer 4The UiPath Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and citizen service delivery across state government agencies. This role supports both traditional linear automation workflows and emerging Agentic AI solutions using UiPath’s automation platform.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and implement UiPath automation solutions for state governmentbusiness processes.Build and maintain automations including attended, unattended, and scheduled bots forrepetitive, rules-based workflows.Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions usingUiPath Studio, UiPath Studio Web, Orchestrator, and related technologies.Develop process workflows, exception handling, logging, auditing, and monitoring capabilities for enterprise-grade automation.Create reusable automation components, libraries, & templates to support enterpriseautomation initiatives.Support integration of UiPath solutions with government systems, databases, APIs, document management systems, and cloud services.Implement secure automation practices aligned with state cybersecurity, privacy, andcompliance standards.Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of automationsolutions.Monitor bot performance, resolve production issues, and optimize automation reliability andefficiency.Develop technical documentation and workflow diagrams.Support citizen service modernization initiatives through intelligent automation technologies.Agentic AI ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Agentic AI solutions using UiPath Autopilot, AI Center, Document Understanding, Communications Mining, and generative AI capabilities.Develop AI-powered agents capable of autonomous decision-making, contextual reasoning, and multi-step task orchestration within defined governance controls.Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, and intelligent document processing into automation workflows.Build human-in-the-loop workflows that combine AI agents with employee oversight andapproval processes.Develop intelligent agents capable of interpreting unstructured data, emails, forms, documents, and citizen communications.Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestrationtechniques within UiPath ecosystems.Ensure responsible AI practices including transparency, auditability, bias mitigation, security,and compliance with government policies.Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies to improve state operational efficiency and service delivery.Assist with establishing enterprise standards and governance for Agentic AI implementations across agencies.Preferred Technical SkillsUiPath Studio, StudioX, Orchestrator, AI Center, Action Center, and Document UnderstandingREFramework and enterprise RPA design patternsAPI integrations, REST/SOAP services, SQL databasesOCR technologies and intelligent document processingGenerative AI, LLM integration, prompt engineering, and AI orchestrationProgramming/scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScriptCloud platforms and enterprise authentication/security conceptsAgile/Scrum development methodologies
