Role Description & ResponsibilitiesOur Dassault Systemes DEMLIA brand is excited to announce we have a Full time, internship opportunity available at our Manufacturing Innovation Center (MIC) in Wichita, KS.The Manufacturing Innovation Center (MIC) is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to support digital manufacturing initiatives and hands-on lab operations. This role offers direct exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform within a live innovation environment.The intern will assist in maintaining and advancing the capabilities of the Dassault Systèmes Manufacturing Innovation Center. This includes supporting digital demonstrator development, automation hardware integration, and physical lab improvements that showcase DELMIA and related solutions.Assist with maintenance and operational support of the MIC labSupport development of DELMIA-based demonstrators for customer visits and educational eventsContribute simulation projectsAssist with physical installations and improvements within the MIC (automation hardware, architectural upgrades, system enhancements)Support preparation of lab environments for tours, training sessions, and technical workshopsCollaborate with engineering, sales, and academic partners to enhance demonstration contentQualificationsCurrently pursuing an ABET-accredited Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Robotics, or related field)Familiarity with:CATIADELMIA (example Ergonomics, and Robotic Simulation)3DEXPERIENCE PlatformBasic understanding of automation hardware such as industrial robots, end-effectors, PLCs, or manufacturing equipmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsIn addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.What You'll GainHands-on experience with industry-leading digital manufacturing toolsExposure to automation hardware and robotics integrationDirect involvement in customer-facing innovation demonstrationsExperience working in a collaborative environment bridging academia and industryThis internship is ideal for students interested in digital manufacturing, robotics, automation, and industrial innovation.Besides the above, a sense of adventure and a willingness to have fun through work are great tools at our disposal.
