It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us.About the RoleThe Residential Engineer diagnoses, provides service and repairs to residential common area equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior repairs, paint and decorating. Additionally, they respond to inquiries and work orders in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum residential satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' guidelines and policies.What You Will DoIdentify and perform repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers DOAS units and associated equipment throughout the entire buildingPerform a variety of building maintenance duties including painting and wallpapering, window installation and repair, floor treatment and repair, door hanging and repairing, and exterior wall surfacesPerform a variety of carpentry duties as assigned including repairing walls, doors and trim; furniture repairs, lockers, gate locks and fencesReplace burned out and defective fluorescent tubes and light bulbs; replace burned out ballasts, broken light switches, duplex receptacles, plates, and other plug receptaclesRepair bathroom plumbing; replace or repair leaking faucets and damaged vanity sinks; unclog toilets, shower and sink drainsMaintain heating and refrigeration units, replace filters and clean vents; repair coolersClean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized departmentMaintenance and separation of refuse and trash chute and corresponding areasImplement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logsRespond to residents' calls regarding maintenance of units and equipment in units or common areas in a timely mannerRespond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.What You BringFluent in English, reading and writingSecondary education or equivalent experienceExperience required by position is from 1 to 2 years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizationRequires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenanceWorking knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certificationsAbility to work all shiftsGood verbal and written communication skills is required.
