Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures, focusing on infrastructure and data flow management.• Build and maintain data pipelines, including ETL processes, and ensure data quality and reliability.• Design and manage data warehouses and databases, integrating data from various sources.• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of data pipelines and workflows.• Support basic data quality initiatives and integration through testing and validation.• Build basic analytic datasets for exploration and modeling.What You'll Need• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a similar discipline is preferred.• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience or transferable equivalent experience.• Training in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.• Basic experience with database applications and a foundational knowledge of tools such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL.• Familiarity with data mining, informatics, programming, information retrieval, databases, data structures, software engineering, and systems design analysis.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($81,500 - $141,300) plus bonus potential.• Opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.• Mentorship opportunities to gain diverse perspectives and develop skills.• Exposure to a range of mainstream commercial and open-source data tools.Apply via Haystack today!
