Machine Operator/Assembler 2nd Shift (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAIN 1ST SHIFT)

Pay Rate: $18.25/HR - $18.75/HR Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30 PM - 10:00) Monday–Friday, some Saturdays) Position Type: Temp-to-Hire ** WOMAN ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY ** ***ITAR Regulations, DT & background JOB SUMMARY: Receive molds from Builders, with uncured parts within to manually push or pull mold into position within the press. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Use lifting devices to remove mold from press and position on a work table. Keen attention to detail in order to correctly close press, set pressure, and set timer for the curing cycle. Manage timing of press cycle. May operator more than one press at a time. When parts are removed from molds, inspect parts for visual defects. Work with different type and sizes of press molds. Able to follow different, specific work instructions for the molds in assigned department. Able to use measuring devices: caliper, snap, gauge, measuring tape, temperature gun, and other devices as necessary. Troubleshoot basic production issues. Complete hour-by-hour chart Ability to read Work Instructions in basic English.
