Boiler Technician

DSI has regional offices in Atlanta, Austin (Headquarters), Boston, Buda (Fabrication and Administration), College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, Poughkeepsie, and San Antonio.As a Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing boilers in a variety of settings. You will need to be knowledgeable in boiler construction, boiler systems, and safety regulations. Your experience in working on both commercial and residential boilers will be essential for success in this role.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and have a customer-focused approach.If this sounds like the right job for you, we can't wait to hear from you!Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial Boiler and HVAC systems sizes up to 1000HP.Troubleshoot and repair commercial Boiler systems including, oil-fired boilers, gas-fired boilers, and associated control systemsStrong understanding of combustion settings for oil and gas boilersEnsure safe and efficient operation of boiler systemKnowledge of performing preventive maintenance on all types and brands of boilers & burnersHealthcare, hospitality, higher education, and manufacturing marketsHydronic, domestic hot water, and steamHigh and low pressure steam systems, DA and Feedwater tanks, and pumping systemsOpen and close boilers for inspectionsCleaning of boiler tubesChecking and cleaning of all safeties on the boilersStart up and setting combustion.Logging and recording temps, amps, and voltage on boilers systems.Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system.Ability to work overtime as needed and be part of a scheduled on-call rotation.Job RequirementsJourneyman license3+ years of Commercial Boiler experienceCommercial and Industrial gas/oil heat service experienceCommercial and/or Industrial HVAC replacement experienceHealthcare Facility Experience Highly PreferredUnderstanding of control systems and wiring including parallel positioningGood understanding of safety procedures and regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the companyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentCompany Benefits IncludeCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits Prescription benefitsHolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramPIa4af2fbc7ba2-31181-35290161
