Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality geotechnical engineering services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and support geotechnical engineering projects from planning through design and construction Perform and oversee geotechnical investigations, including drilling programs and subsurface evaluations Conduct analyses and design for shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, and earth retention systems Complete geotechnical modeling, including seepage, slope stability, and pile analysis (vertical and lateral) Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and construction documents Ensure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and company quality standards Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and project teams Collaborate across disciplines to support complex infrastructure and environmental projects Assist with client engagement and business development to expand service offerings Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (geotechnical focus preferred) 6+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license (CT, MA, or RI), or ability to obtain within 6 months Proven experience delivering geotechnical services Strong experience with geotechnical modeling and analysis tools Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and geotechnical software Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Project management and supervisory experience highly preferred This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in‑office with a high‑performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
