Philadelphia, PA 19107 (On-site)Position Type: ContractHours Per Week: 40 hours per weekInterview Type: Webcam or In-Person Ceipal ID: COP_WORK423_MARequirement ID: 423Position Overview / Statement of Work The Office of Innovation and Technology is seeking a Product Director (ERP/HCM Systems) to lead, manage, and grow the team responsible for the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms such as Workday or other comparable ERP/HCM solutions across various modules.This leadership role will oversee a team of 40 professionals working across Financial and Purchasing modules to drive operational excellence, improve efficiencies, and enhance system capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in Workday or similar platforms (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian Dayforce, UKG Pro), combined with leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams within a complex organizational environment. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP/HCM capabilities and best practices, as well as the ability to drive product strategy, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful results that meet the needs of public sector stakeholders.Work ActivitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap DevelopmentDefine and maintain the ERP/HCM product roadmap aligned with organizational goals.Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.Manage product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance and user satisfaction.Cross-Functional Team CollaborationLead, mentor, and manage a team of 40 professionals across functions.Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.Provide strategic direction across ERP/HCM modules.Develop training programs to enhance technical expertise and leadership skills.Project Management & DeliveryLead execution of ERP/HCM implementation projects, upgrades, and configurations.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.Identify and mitigate risks proactively.Optimization & Continuous ImprovementEvaluate system performance and implement updates or new features.Drive integration with other enterprise systems.Ensure continuous enhancement of platform capabilities.Stakeholder Communication & TrainingAct as SME for ERP/HCM topics.Communicate project status and improvements to stakeholders.Maintain training materials and user documentation.Compliance & SecurityEnsure configurations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Partner with IT/security teams to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.Skills / Experience of Assigned StaffRequiredIn-depth knowledge of Workday or other ERP/HCM platforms (Finance, Purchasing, and related modules).Strong understanding of public sector finance and purchasing processes.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product success.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated experience leading ERP/HCM product strategy in government or large public-sector organizations.Experience with integrations, reporting, and technical components of ERP/HCM platforms.Highly Desired / PreferredExperience with multiple ERP solutions (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, Ceridian Dayforce, UKG Pro).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Customer-centric mindset with adaptability to changing priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.Minimum of 10+ years in financial systems management with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP/HCM implementations and optimizations.Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations specific to public sector operations.V Group Inc. is a NJ based IT Services and Products Company with its business strategically categorized in various Business Units including Public Sector, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.
