OverviewOn-Location Bridal & Beauty Stylist Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Bridal & Special EventsAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced, polished stylist to join our on-location team at Drybar Wheaton. This is not your typical stylist role. You'll be our trusted expert in the field - representing the Drybar brand at weddings, bridal events, and private occasions throughout the greater Chicagoland area.We partner with event planners, wedding planners, and bridal makeup studios, and we hold ourselves to a standard that reflects that partnership. If you take pride in your craft, show up prepared, and love making people feel beautiful on their most important days - this role was made for you.What You'll DoTravel to wedding venues, hotels, and private residences to deliver on-site hair stylingExecute bridal and event hair with precision - Hollywood waves, elegant updos, bubble braids, veil placement, and Drybar signature blowoutsServe as a direct extension of the Drybar Wheaton brand - professional, warm, and flawless every timeMaintain availability for advance bookings - some weddings book 12-18 months out, and we need stylists who plan ahead alongside usCommit to two Saturday in-salon shifts per month at Drybar WheatonBe available on an on-call basis as our dedicated on-location stylist as demand growsWhat We're Looking For Proven bridal and event styling experience - this is a requirement, not a plusMastery of Hollywood waves (our most requested style - this is non-negotiable)Strong command of updos, modern braids, and veil workActive Illinois cosmetology licenseReliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locationsThe kind of person who packs their kit the night before - prepared, thorough, and never caught off guardPunctual, professional, and genuinely kind - clients should feel at ease the moment you walk inAppearance StandardsAll-black professional attire is required for every on-location event - no exceptions.
