Applicants must possess strong customer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment. Servers will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by properly taking guest orders, working on a team with fellow staff members, and by providing an exceptional guest experience. This position will also occasionally assist with special events and projects./ppBase Pay: $12/hr + tips/ppLocation: All Resort restaurant locations/ppEmployee Type: Hourly, non-exempt/ppJob Category: Seasonal full or part time or year-round to the right candidate./ppLeadership Responsibilities: No/ppExperience: At least six months of successful serving or bartending experience is necessary./ppRequired Certs or Licenses: NM Alcohol Servers License (must have prior to first day of work) Food Handler Certificate (www.nmfoodhandlers.com)/ppAttendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled/ppEstimated start date: Mid April/ppMinimum Age: 21/ppTypical Shift: Afternoon / Evening/ppEmployee Housing: https://www.angelfireresort.com/work-for-us/employee-housing//ppEmployee Benefits: https://www.angelfireresort.com/work-for-us/employee-benefits//ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:/pulliResponds to guests in a courteous and efficient manner./liliPresents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service./liliAnswers questions concerning cost of items, features of items, resort activities, hours of operation, weather conditions, etc./liliTakes food orders and utilizes POS system to place and record orders./liliRelays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars./liliGarnishes and decorates dishes/beverages preparatory to serving./liliObserves diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed./liliTotals bill and accepts payment/liliLadles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as needed./liliRequests identification from customers when legal age is questioned regarding alcoholic service./liliRemoves empty or dirty dishes, utensils, glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen./liliCompletes opening and closing side work as directed./liliFollows alcohol serving policies as required by NM State Law./liliMaintains clean and orderly working environment and follows proper sanitation procedures./liliReads and records totals shown on point of sale system and verifies against cash on hand./liliUtilizes proper cash handling procedures./liliOther associated tasks duties as assigned./li/ulpEnvironment: This is typically an indoor position.
