CNC Programmer

Job DescriptionSenior CNC Programmer (Aerospace Components/Systems)Full-Time | On-siteWe are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to support machining operations for precision aerospace components. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and process reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Esprit preferred)Create complete machining processes including setup, fixturing, tooling, and operation sequencingSelect appropriate cutting tools and determine speeds and feeds for various materialsGenerate setup sheets, tool lists, and clear machining instructionsSupport first article runs and troubleshoot issues on the shop floorCollaborate with operators and cross-functional teams to ensure production successIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve qualityAnalyze manufacturing issues and recommend effective solutionsQualifications4+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with milling (lathe experience a plus; some 5-axis experience preferred)Proficiency with CAM software (Esprit strongly preferred)Ability to manually edit or write CNC programs (G-code)Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and cutting parametersExperience developing setups, fixturing, and machining strategiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyPreferred ExperienceAerospace or high-precision manufacturing environmentExperience supporting first article inspection and production ramp-upFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesCompensation & Benefits$35 – $50 per hour (based on experience)Bonus or incentive eligibilityMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer development and tuition assistance
