Customer Service Representative
Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Customer Service Representative for MasterBrand Cabinets in a remote role. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for going above and beyond to create a premium experience while interacting with and serving as the main contact for information with internal and external customers. This is a contract, short-term assignment.Shift InformationMonday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMEssential FunctionsServe as a key interface to MCBI customers in responding to inquiries such as order status, detailed product specs, product information, claims/returns, order processing, account status, and sales programsEffectively communicate with customers, team, sales, and managementInteract appropriately with all MBCI departments to resolve issuesAssess customer-related problems or issues to develop and implement appropriate resolutions, including identifying how to prevent issues in the futureRespond to consumer and customer inquiries with due diligenceRespond promptly to customer requests and investigate/research requests for no-charge replacement itemsShow proficiency and a high level of expertise with all business systems as they pertain to the organizationMaintain knowledge of new products and product changesMaintain customer account information process and procedure documentationConsistently demonstrate the MasterBrand way and position the company for growthHelp identify opportunities to reduce waste complexity and improve our work environmentPerform other tasks as assignedQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDGeneral RequirementsStrong service mentality, dedicated to satisfying the customerStrong oral and written communication skillsAttention to detailAccurate keying and documentationAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSolid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at onceExceptional math skills (specifically fractions)Product knowledgeOrder entry and computer skills Microsoft Office, Word, and ExcelSelf-motivated and team-orientedPreferred RequirementsCollege experience and/or a 2-year degreePrior customer service experienceWhy Is This a Great OpportunityFor nearly 70 years, MasterBrand has been shaping the places where people come together, enriching lives and creating meaningful memories for our customers.
