Architecture/Interior Designer Intern

*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and motivated Architecture/Interior Designer Intern to join our dynamic design team. This role is ideal for aspiring designers eager to immerse themselves in real-world projects and develop a comprehensive understanding of the architectural and interior design industry. *Duties* * Assist in creating detailed construction drawings and construction documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino 3D. * Support 3D modeling efforts for architectural and interior design projects utilizing tools like SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, and Rhino 3D. * Prepare renderings and visualizations with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software to communicate design concepts effectively. * Conduct building code analysis and ensure design compliance with accessibility regulations and construction regulatory standards. * Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating activities to support project management processes. * Collaborate on sustainable design initiatives by integrating eco-friendly materials and building information modeling (BIM) tools into project workflows. * Assist in the development of construction detail documentation, construction accessibility regulations adherence, and contract review processes. * Support business development efforts by preparing presentation materials and participating in client meetings when needed. *Requirements* * Currently enrolled in an accredited architecture or interior design program or recent graduate with relevant coursework or experience. * Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. * Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction drawings, and construction management processes. * Experience with 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering techniques. * Knowledge of building code compliance, accessibility standards, and construction regulatory requirements. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. * Demonstrated interest in sustainable design practices and innovative building solutions. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
