Full Stack Developer II
Job Description
SALARY RANGE $143,000 - $200,000/year.
DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Full Stack Developer II role, you will serve as a core developer on a system supporting mission management and workflow automation. In this position, you will develop, maintain, and modernize a full-stack application, including its data orchestration platform. Working alongside a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts, you will collaborate closely with mission customers to deliver targeted, high-impact technical solutions.

Required Skills

Perform full-stack development of system features with a primary focus on backend API design and customer requirements
Implement continuous feature additions and updates in response to evolving mission requirements
Deliver code reviews, software engineering expertise, and core enabling functions to support automation teams
Modernize and harden mission management systems through Kubernetes migrations, system upgrades, and enhanced security implementation
QUALIFICATIONS Eight (8) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Additional requirements:
Build full-scale applications and APIs using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
Orchestrate and containerize services using Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart authoring and CI/CD integration
Demonstrate proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB
Utilize Git for version control and repository management
Leverage Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage team workflows
