Server Engineer

Provide server installation and GO live support for new facilities; perform refresh of servers (CONUS), provide a plan and update it as needed; provide non-routine (e.g., emergency) server installation support services. Coordinate with the applicable points-of-contact to arrange server installations and minimize disruptions to on-going activities; Coordinate logistics with the other functional elements of this contract (e.g., shipping and receiving, deployment, training, etc.); and create accurate technical documents for all server installation activities. Perform server installation refreshes (all hardware components) with full hardware, OS installation, configuration and migration of data to new hardware; after installation and deployment, ensure that the systems are configured per technical specifications contained in approved technical documentation; in support of an active deployment, perform operating system configuration and security fixes.
