The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and FircoSoft AML & Sanctions Screening solutions. The candidate will play a key role in developing, customizing, and supporting financial crime compliance applications for enterprise banking clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.Configure, customize, and support FircoSoft solutions for Sanctions Screening, AML, and Financial Crime Compliance.Develop integrations between FircoSoft applications and enterprise banking systems.Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.Work closely with Business Analysts, Compliance teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.Customize FircoSoft workflows, screening rules, filtering logic, and alert processing.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.Develop unit tests and support integration, regression, and system testing.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the SDLC.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices.Strong experience with FircoSoft implementation, customization, and support.Experience working on Sanctions Screening, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Watchlist Filtering, or Financial Crime Compliance solutions.Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2 databases.Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, Firco Compliance Link, or Firco Screening Server.Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX) and payment processing.Experience integrating FircoSoft with core banking, payment, or transaction processing platforms.Banking or Financial Services domain experience.Experience with Kafka, MQ, or messaging technologies.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.FircoSoft certifications are an added advantage.Required Technical SkillsJavaJ2EESpring BootSpring MVCSpring SecurityMicroservicesREST APIsFircoSoftAML (Anti-Money Laundering)Sanctions ScreeningWatchlist FilteringFinancial Crime ComplianceOracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / DB2SQLMavenJenkinsGitCI/CDKafka (Preferred)Docker (Preferred)Kubernetes (Preferred)AWS / Azure (Preferred)Preferred DomainBankingFinancial ServicesPaymentsAML & Financial Crime ComplianceSanctions ScreeningSWIFT PaymentsEqual Opportunity Employer: We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
