Job Title: Sales Engineer (Miscellaneous or Structural Steel)Location: Spokane, Washington (On-site, 5 days/week with occasional flexibility)Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + performance-based bonus (quarterly + annual)The RoleA growing commercial construction business is looking to hire a Sales Engineer with a structural engineering background and experience in metal decking and bar joist systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, supporting bids and estimating, and playing a key part in project success from early design through delivery.Day to DayProvide technical sales support for joist and metal decking solutionsSupport bid and proposal development alongside estimating teamsCoordinate with customers, architects, engineers, detailers, and internal project teamsReview drawings and project documents using BluebeamWork with manufacturers to secure pricing and strengthen bid competitivenessHelp improve internal estimating and project handoff processesBuild long-term customer relationships and support repeat business growthPartner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business expansionRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering2–5 years of experience in structural engineering or related construction industry roleKnowledge of joists and decking systems (highly preferred)Proficient in Bluebeam (AutoCAD familiarity is a plus)Experience supporting estimating, bids, or proposal developmentStrong communication and customer-facing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsMust be local to or willing to relocate to Spokane, WAPE license preferredApply NowTo apply send an up-to-date resume to gfiler@novaxrecruitment.com, or apply directly through this advertisement.
