Quality Assistant
The focus of this role is to provide wide ranging support to the quality department by promoting and integrating quality into every aspect of PDC. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards.RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain all documentation in the Quality Management SystemResponsible for various QA functions, including maintaining calibration, performing internal audits, and facilitating continuous improvement activitiesEnsure all documentation aligns with the Quality Manual and ISO 9001Assist and maintain all on-going certifications and various compliance-related documentation with the Safety, Engineering, and Quality ManagerProvide technical assistance to production on QA/QC issuesPrepare reports through collecting, analyzing, and summarizing dataPerform other duties as assignedORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: No supervisory responsibilitiesThis position reports directly to the Quality ManagerQUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsMust have solid problem-solving skills and interpersonal skillsMust have effective written and verbal communication skills with positive attitude and professional imageMust be very detail orientedMust have effective planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines with frequent interruptionsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OR LICENSES: High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust have valid Driver's LicenseBlueprint or GD&T experience preferredISO 9001 experience preferred2+ years of Quality related experience requiredJOB TYPE: This is an in-person position requiring a 40-hour work weekFirst Shift, Monday through FridayBENIFITS: 401(k) and company matchingHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceFlexible spending accountLife insurancePaid time offPowered by JazzHR
