Responsible for departmental results, effectively managing accounts receivable, and achieving positive financial outcomes.Job ResponsibilitiesAddress revenue cycle challenges to meet the cash flow needs of the company, looking for ways to solve payer rejections, denials, and underpayments Establish positive relationships with third-party payers and clearing houses to resolve billing issues Oversee cash application process, ensuring that all payments and denials are posted in a timely mannerComplete, monitor, and analyze company write-offsEnsures that company policies, procedures, and compliance restrictions are adhered toOversee implementation of departmental policies and proceduresManage and monitor department workflow, prioritizing projects as neededEvaluate department processes for efficiency, accuracy, and qualityManage departmental budgetDevelopment of short and long-term goals for the department aligned to the organization’s strategyCreate and analyze reporting on key metrics and productivity Collaborate with management and staff from across the organization to solve problems and improve internal efficienciesHandle multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines, ensuring appropriate follow-up and closureCoaches, mentors, and develop teamConducts performance reviews Handles corrective action and accountability Participates in interviews and the selection of candidates Supports team engagement and retentionQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration preferred3-5 years’ experience in a management role within finance, claims management, or medical billing preferredFamiliarity with various medical insurance payer guidelines/billing requirements is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and communication skillsDemonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to make appropriate decisions/judgment callsSalary & Benefits$100-110k Medical, Dental and Vision (Eligible first day of employment) Flexible Spending Account Life & Disability Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Vacation and Sick Days Paid Holidays Education AssistanceEmployee Referral ProgramCareer-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer.
