Security Manager

Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard personnel and property. Lead and manage security teams by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of vigilance. Conduct thorough background checks on potential security staff and perform ongoing assessments to verify suitability for the role. Oversee surveillance operations using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the premises continuously. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Perform regular patrols and inspections, including heavy lifting tasks when necessary, to identify vulnerabilities or hazards. Manage conflict resolution by de-escalating situations professionally while maintaining safety protocols. Write detailed incident reports, maintain accurate records of security activities, and analyze data for continuous improvement. Ensure all team members are trained in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. Conduct routine security audits and perform background checks on vendors or contractors before granting access. Experience Proven experience in security management or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of security protocols. Military background or law enforcement experience is highly desirable for leadership capabilities and discipline. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities. Familiarity with surveillance systems, report writing, conflict management techniques, and performing background checks. Experience in performing first aid and CPR certifications is preferred; ongoing training is encouraged. Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting when required for patrols or equipment setup.
