We take pride in not jus the quality of work, but also the way we carry ourselves and the expectations we have set for our clients and agencies we serve.Job DescriptionROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Licensed Electricians will be directly responsible for their actions and installations, as well as those of an assigned apprentice. All work to be completed in compliance with the most recent NEC and any amendments. We expect our electricians to arrive at the shop or job site prepared to work. Daily guidance will be provided on projects scheduled for completion.Responsible for the assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment residing in the vehicle.Expected to maintain a safe and clean work place environment for him/herself and the assigned apprentice.Keep track of materials used on job sites.Report accurately any materials required to complete a project.Have the ability to make decisions in order to complete projects as changes arise.Employees must have their own hand tools.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSJourneyman Electrician License in MA and NHMinimum OSHA10CORI to receive the Massachusetts S License.Valid Drivers License in MA and NHAbility to communicate verbally with management, employees, and clients when necessary.Ability to describe project progress on work orders.Ability to follow instructions.Familiar with the use of a tablet for plan management, documentation, and completion of reports, etc.Ability to lift 50 poundsAbility to perform work on step ladders, scissor lifts, aerial boom lifts, etc.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONSUnderstand how to read blueprintsProblem SolvingAbility to relay and document work completed and complete task within the given timelineFamiliar with all NEC wiring methodsExpansive code knowledgeConduit bending and threadingExperienced in the use of Electric and Hydraulic Bending EquipmentExperienced in the use of Threading EquipmentExperienced in the use of Cable tuggersInstallation of Panelboards, Switchgear, DisconnectsSecondary Knowledge:Fire Alarm SystemsConventionalAddressableHow to properly wire for zones, SLC, and NAC circuitsHow to Test/InspectData and Voice CommunicationsTerminations of Copper and FiberTesting and CertificationSecurity SystemsVideo Surveillance SystemsAccess Control SystemsBuilding Controls wiringUnderstanding of the basic operation of Mechanical systems to properly pre-wire for dampers, sensors, and other controls.BENEFITS PACKAGE8 Paid Holidays2 weeks paid vacation, 3 weeks / 3 years, 4 weeks / 5 years401k with up to a 4% corporate match50% medical CoverageDental & Vision
