Optician
We are looking for skilled Opticians who have the ability to ensure the patient and client receive the best optical outcome. We are a fast growing, multiple location comprehensive eye care medical practice that has offices in West Salem, Eugene, Thurston and Junction City. Our Opticians are an important member of our Clinic Team and are expected to make the following contributions to our collective success with both internal and external customers:
Work directly with the Optometrist and patient through all phase of care within the clinic including glasses, contacts and all other optical needs
Have at least 2 years of experience as an Optician with strong attention to detail
Meet and greet patients as they enter the clinic in a warm and professional manner
Listen and understand the needs of our patients while interacting in a positive and welcoming manner
Strong knowledge of materials and optic guidelines
Utilize the practice management software to enter and retrieve information
Embrace our culture of being part of a work family that supports one another
Provide a professional, business casual appearance
Willingness to be trained and to train others
Desire to support fellow team members in all situations
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast paced work environment
Excellent communication skills
Prioritizing customer service and exceptional patient care
