Commercial Service Electrician

Job Description :As a Commercial Service Electrician, you play a critical role in delivering high-quality electrical service to our clients while supporting the JRAC team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair (time & material service), and installations across commercial projects. The goal of this role is to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems while providing exceptional service and support to both our clients and internal team.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Duties include but are not limited to· Physically capable & able to follow directions- Safe use, care, and maintenance of tools & equipment· Working to or currently obtain cfc certification· Electrical code· Proficiency at preparing quotes· Operate and maintain switchgear· Planning & running conduit· Pulling wire in different settings· Installation of boxed & panels· Checking wiring for code compliance· Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including minor repairs and lighting· Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ac & dc drives· Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of controls & indicators· Connecting and testing service and distribution· Use of meters and diagnostic equipment· Wiring, devices, fixtures, and panel boards· Temperature and automatic controls· Specialized systems· High voltage - 480· Control voltage· Conductors· Other job duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:Driven to achieve long and short-term goals within specific deadlines.Dependable with a strong desire to learnMinimum 3-5 years field experienceClean driving recordCFC certification preferredTrade schoolElectrical cardJourneyman’s card preferredMaster's card preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAble to work irregular and extended hoursAll successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug-screen.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
