Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in fostering positive behavioral changes and promoting skill acquisition. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of clients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on data collection and analysis. Implement behavior intervention strategies in accordance with best practices in applied behavior analysis. Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care. Monitor client progress through regular data collection and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide training and support to staff and family members on behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake forms, and progress notes while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Proven experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Familiarity with patient assessment methods and data collection practices. Experience in special education settings is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines regarding medical records. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
