Assistant Electrical Project Manager

OVERVIEWWe are looking for a motivated, organized and analytical Assistant Electrical Project Manager with a strong attention-to-detail skillset to join our growing team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is a high-growth role designed for a professional interested in seeking a path to transition into a lead project management role.GENERAL INFORMATIONReports directly to our Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout. Will also interact with vendors and other field personnel.Normal working hours are Monday through Friday between 7:00AM to 4:00PM. This is a full in-office role, with no remote work available. No routine weekend hours.JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIESPrepares, tracks, and manages critical documentation including Submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders using Procore/Bluebeam.Assists in developing and maintaining project timelines; coordinates with field foremen to ensure 3-week look-ahead schedules are met.Reviews subcontractor invoices, tracks material costs against the budget, and assists with monthly progress billings.Coordinates the release and delivery of major electrical gear and lighting packages to ensure zero downtime for field crews.Attends weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and conducts site walks to verify work quality and NEC compliance.Engages with Field Supervision to ensure accurate equipment and systems installations.Works with the Safety Director to ensure all site activities meet OSHA standards and company safety protocols.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Two years’ experience in electrical construction (either in the field as a Lead/Journeyman or in a project coordination role).Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or equivalent trade experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-lines, and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, scheduling software (Primavera) and project management software (Procore) preferred. Strong communication skills with our personnel as well as Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors etc.OSHA 10-hour required (OSHA 30 preferred).Familiarity with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton construction market and vendors is a plus.Team player in a small office environment Detail oriented, must have the ability to prioritize work, analyze information, identify discrepancies and meet deadlines.Strong Problem Solving and troubleshooting skills required.BENEFITSEligible for Company Profit Sharing Plan after first year.Medical, Dental and Vision Health BenefitsInsurance Benefits including Life and Short-term Disability.Paid Time OffPaid Holidays
