This position operates in a fast paced and high volume environment.Key Responsibilities:Work remotely from anywhere in the United StatesProcess end to end weekly payroll including verifying all changes, additions, terminations or additional pays have been included and processed.Complete all pre and post transmission auditing and validationOversee Daily Pay program and processing of transactionsCompliance with Federal, State and Local tax lawsTimecard and absence administration for non-exempt populationProcess stop payments and direct deposit reversalsProcess check and direct deposit files to payment vendorAnswer employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies within approved SLA guidelinesReconcile all banking transactions for each pay periodBackup for other members of payroll teamDaily Manual Check processingActively identify areas of improvementDevelop ad hoc reporting as neededOther tasks and projects as assigned by managementDesired qualifications:College degree or minimum 7 years of payroll processing multi-state payroll and data entry experienceExperience with Oracle HRIS and ADP Smart Compliance preferredExperience with Payroll Tax filingMust be a self-starter, detail oriented, very organized and strong teamwork skillsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsMust be flexible, dependableMust have excellent communication and customer service skillsWe are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:$72,000—$85,000 USDTo ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
