You will join our dedicated and dynamic team that conducts standard penetrometer testing operations, including performing borings and sharing your evaluations with your geotechnical engineering team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist driller with operating support equipment such as, vehicles, pumps, drill tooling, and other equipment Safely assist driller in performing routine drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks Work outdoor year-round within a two or three-person team. Solve problems and work productively in a team environment. Mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure the optimal operating condition Perform physical labor, shoveling drilling debris, and moving drill tooling and materials using proper lifting techniques. Acquire and maintain any required certifications and training. Cross train on construction material testing as workload allows. Complete other duties and projects as assigned. This position is hourly and generally full-time with a normal work schedule from 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours may be regularly adjusted to meet project and client's needs and may include night and weekend work. Please note that the duties below may vary based on the changing needs of the company.
