Cashier / Front-of-House Server

The Crispy Cod – Raleigh, NC We’re looking for a top-tier cashier/server who can run the front like a pro. This is not a warm-body register job. You are the face of the brand, the traffic controller, and the person who keeps service tight during rushes. Pay $8/hour base 50% of pooled weekly tips Typical total pay lands $13–$15/hour, sometimes more during busy weeks What You’ll Do Run POS fast and accurately during high-volume service Greet every guest with confidence and control the line Know the menu cold: explain items, answer questions, upsell intelligently Manage modifiers, allergies, and special requests without slowing service Keep the front clean, stocked, and sharp at all times\ Communicate clearly with the kitchen—no ticket confusion, no nonsense Handle cash, cards, and tips with absolute accuracy Represent the brand professionally at all times What We’re Looking For High-energy, calm under pressure Excellent communicator—clear, confident, not awkward Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable in a fast, loud, high-volume environment Food-hall or quick-service experience strongly preferred POS experience required (Toast experience is a plus) Shows up on time, every time.
