Minimum Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Some college coursework, associates or bachelors degree preferred
Special needs experience preferred but not required
Childcare experience preferred but not required
Ability to pass a criminal history background check and drug testing
Responsibilities
Implement ABA therapy programs designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Keep children motivated to learn while creating a positive learning environment
Collect accurate data as instructed and write progress notes after each session
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents
Ability to work with confidential information and follow all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines related to client privacy
Must be able to work in fast paced environment
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting and crawling for extended periods of time
Must have quick reflexes
Must be able to sit on the floor, in a small chair, or stand for extended periods of time
Must be willing to manage challenging behaviors with support
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
