Enjoyable and welcoming work environment Work 1:1 in a small center-based program for children with ASD ages 2 years old to 6 years old Work under the direct supervision of a BCBA Flexible Schedule Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training offered to all employees with a large focus on new hire training Competitive pay Our ideal candidate Is enthusiastic about working with children Is energetic, animated and outgoing Is empathetic, patient and has a genuine desire to help others Is committed to growth and learning Has strong, reliable work ethic Is team-oriented and collaborative Is open to feedback Has excellent time management skills Can multitask and stay organized Demonstrates excellent communication skills and verbal communication skills Minimum Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Some college coursework, associates or bachelors degree preferred Special needs experience preferred but not required Childcare experience preferred but not required Ability to pass a criminal history background check and drug testing Responsibilities Implement ABA therapy programs designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Keep children motivated to learn while creating a positive learning environment Collect accurate data as instructed and write progress notes after each session Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents Ability to work with confidential information and follow all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines related to client privacy Must be able to work in fast paced environment Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting and crawling for extended periods of time Must have quick reflexes Must be able to sit on the floor, in a small chair, or stand for extended periods of time Must be willing to manage challenging behaviors with support Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Application Question(s): Are you available Monday-Fridays 8am-5pm to work?
