Structural Engineer - Active Clearance Needed

W2 Role.. No C2CRemote RoleStructural Engineer* Bachelor s degree required in Civil Engineering or related technical or engineering field* Master s degree preferred* PE preferred* 7 years of relevant experience to include recent nuclear design project structural engineering experience* Experience in nuclear industry preferred* Effective written and verbal communication skills* Mastered the in-depth knowledge and experience required in civil design* In-depth knowledge of strength of materials and structural mechanics* Able to complete complex technical work with limited supervision* Higher-level knowledge and application of skills of fundamental principles and concepts related to civil and structural design* Familiarity with industry standards and design codes such as ASME, ACI, ASCE and AISC* Experience in conducting seismic and impact-based dynamic analyses, geotechnical and geophysical engineering* Experience in modular design development of SSCs* Experience working with designers and manufacturers to develop models and drawings; knowledge of software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit* Prior nuclear industry experience including interactions with NRC or other regulatory authorities
