Quality Inspector

Job Description We are seeking a Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team! You will review certifications to determine the quality of materials and validate dimensions on in process and finished metal aircraft engine parts to meet our customer quality requirements. Lots of opportunity for overtime!Must be authorized to work in USA.No Relocation Funding.Responsibilities:Perform thorough examinations of all materials, in process and finished productsPerform manual layout inspectionknow how to use gauges - micrometer, indicators, swing gauges, height gauge, Optical Comperator, calipers, pins and wall thickness gaugeRead and interpret CMM reportsParticipate in internal audits and evaluationsIdentify and troubleshoot dimensional problems and defectsParticipate in routine visual inspectionsMaintain a clean and safe work environment​​Qualifications:Previous work experience in quality control in AerospaceMust be able interpret blueprints and operation sheetsMust be able to use gauges: micrometer, indicators, swing gauges, height gauge, Optical Comperator, calipers, pins and wall thickness gaugeUnderstanding of Pratt and Whitney, General Electric and Sikorsky specificationsCan use Excel, Words and OutlookStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills​To be considered, please click "Apply Now."Company DescriptionGrowing manufacturing company of aircraft engine parts and helicopter parts.
