Title: Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (MECM/SCCM) - MECM, Imaging, PatchingLocation: Washington, DC Terms: Full-Time/PermanentPosition Summary:Telework may be possible but at the discretion of the customer. Responsibilities: With modern endpoint management technologies, you will improve the management, reporting, and analytics of an endpoint fleet consisting of 3000+ laptops and virtual machines. We are looking for an experienced operating system administrator familiar with MECM, system packaging, patching, and creation of software packages for large enterprise clients or government agencies. It also includes developing, deploying, updating, and supporting custom Windows operating systems (O.S.) images for laptops and systems. The system administrator will be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day support of the enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environment and architecture. They will also be part of a team to design and develop solutions to complex application problems.Qualifications:• MECM/SCCM Certification preferred.• Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) experience is preferred.• 7+ years’ experience with architecture and deploying customized Operating System images, applications, and security patches utilizing Microsoft MECM/SCCM.• Experience developing customized Windows O.S. client images with MECM/SCCM OSD Task Sequences, Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and Group Policies.• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (A.D.), specifically group policy management and MECM/SCCM dependence of A.D. sites and services.• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge to support MECM/SCCM operations and reporting.• Proven project management experience and demonstrated ability to execute and achieve expected results.• Able to work effectively with peers in a team environment while working in a self-directed manner on multiple tasks.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Strong customer service orientation.• Must be organized, process-minded, and detail-oriented.• Robust problem analysis and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications:• 7+ Years’ Experience as a Systems Administrator • 5+ Years as a MECM/SCCM administrator with architectural experience.• Microsoft Active Directory• Microsoft Group Policy• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)• Experience with PowerShell scripting• Deep knowledge of desktop O.S. deployment and imaging, Application installs, O.S. patching, and feature updates.• Microsoft Office 365• Experience with Azure Active Directory Education/Certification Requirements:• 4+ years’ experience, no degree requirement. B.S. preferred.
