We are committed to growing our team with clinicians who bring a variety of specialties and perspectives, ensuring we can continue delivering high-quality, individualized care.POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Executive Director, the Licensed Clinical Therapist provides high-quality, culturally competent therapy services to individuals in need. The clinician will have the opportunity to work with children (ages 5+), adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and/or family sessions to address a range of psychological and emotional concerns.DUTIES•      Counsel clients through life changes, emotional difficulties, and behavioral challenges to support improved mental health and wellbeing•      Maintain confidentiality of client records in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards•      Guide clients in developing practical skills and strategies to address their challenges•      Create a supportive space that encourages clients to explore their feelings, life experiences, and relationships, and to develop meaningful self-insight•      Gather client information through clinical interviews, screenings, and observations•      Prepare and maintain thorough, accurate treatment records and documentation•      Evaluate clients' mental health status and formulate clinical impressions•      Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical training and expertise•      Serve as a client advocate, coordinating services and responding effectively to crisis situations•      Participate in peer review, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives•      Provide in-service training and presentations on relevant clinical topics as requested•      Attend required meetings and training sessions•      Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen clinical skills•      Support practice growth through participation in marketing and referral-building activities•  Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMaster's or doctoral degree in a mental health fieldActive State of California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, or LMFT2+ years of experience as an independently licensed clinicianBilingual (Spanish/English) clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive a differential reimbursement rate reflecting the value of serving our Spanish-speaking clientsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES•      Strong understanding of human behavior, individual differences, and motivation•      Knowledge of evidence-based principles and practices for the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders•      Familiarity with group dynamics, cultural influences, and diverse populations•      Commitment to ongoing clinical and professional growth•      Specialized training in one or more areas (e.g., children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family therapy) preferred•      Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress or crisis situations•      Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit•      Genuine investment in the wellbeing of clients and colleagues•      Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail•      Strong written and verbal communication skills•    Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plusPHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS (with or without reasonable accommodation)Full-time: 25 clients per weekPart-time: 15 clients per weekAll employees are required to attend weekly staff and case consultation meetingsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerOccasional lifting or carrying of objects up to 10 poundsOffice hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; specific availability will be discussed upon hireTHIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU:•      Want to join a small, growing private practice and be part of something from the ground up•      Thrive in an autonomous environment without micromanagement•      Simply want to do great therapy without worrying about billing•      Enjoy consulting with colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team culture•      Are open to opportunities beyond direct clinical work, such as supervising unlicensed therapists•      Like to bring ideas to the table and be heard•      Appreciate transparency and open communication as the organization grows•  Want to work in a positive, uplifting, and inclusive environmentThis role may not be the right fit if you:•  Prefer a large organization with a large team•  Are looking for fully remote work•  Prefer not to be involved in the broader life of the practiceCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS•      Competitive hourly rate: $80–$90/hour•      Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees (effective after 30 days)•      7 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday•      Paid sick time•      Continuing education reimbursement•      Steady stream of referrals provided•      In-house scheduling and billing support•  Weekly group case consultationOUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY & INCLUSIONAt Aspire Neuropsychological Services, diversity and equity are core to who we are.
