SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER - UNCLASSIFIED

The Nevada Gaming Control Board is recruiting for a Senior Application Developer. This position will be located in Reno or Las Vegas. Under the direction of the Programming Supervisor or Programming Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of designing, developing, and supporting both existing systems and new applications.Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, designing and developing effective solutions, conducting testing, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, software engineering, or related field; 2 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, or SDET with skills in defect tracking systems, requirements management, test case administration, and project management; familiarity with technologies such as Visual Studio, .Net, C#, or SQL; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A Senior Application Developer (QA) is under the supervision of the Programming Supervisor or Programming Manager and is involved in all aspects designing, developing, and supporting the Nevada Gaming Control Board's existing systems as well as new application development.
