Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care in a high-volume emergency department with over 100,000 visits annually.
Maintain a typical patient ratio of 4:1 and effectively manage up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds.
Operate medical equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
Utilize Cerner for documentation and adhere to scheduling requirements, including every other weekend shifts.
Float within all sections of the ED as needed, without floating outside the department.
Ensure patient experience standards are met through AIDET and continual updates throughout visits.QualificationsCurrent and unencumbered RN license valid in the state of North Carolina.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center ED.
Advanced certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC within 90 days.
Teamwork-oriented with the ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
Flexible and willing to work in all areas of the emergency department.
