Director of Software Product Delivery (Remote)

OverviewThe GovCIO Enterprise Digital Services organization is rapidly growing and we are looking for a strong Director of Software Product Delivery to join our team. While the EDS team's base of operations is located in Austin, Texas, this position is 100% remote.ResponsibilitiesLeads and manages the efforts of multi-disciplined personnel teams (Product Owners, Software Engineers, DBAs, & QA) to deliver systems within guidelines for schedule, cost, quality and productivity.Monitor and report project status and milestone achievements for all phases of a project on a very regular basis and implement remedial actions as appropriate.Delegates tasks to, organizes, mentors and motivates a team of Information Systems professionals and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.Manages technology assets and budget; assessing, designing and providing system and technology training.Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.QualificationsBachelor's with 15+ years (or commensurate experience)Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.Familiarity with Product development and delivery in Agile product delivery environmentsDemonstrated ability to drive and manage concurrent product development and delivery workstreamsSignificant private sector experience delivering large scale product delivery (preferably at companies such as AMD, Samsung, National Instruments, and/or Intel) with a sense of urgencyFamiliarity with product management and delivery tools like MS Project, MS Teams, Office 365, Slack, and JiraFamiliarity with DevSecOps pipeline and release managementFamiliarity with hosting environments like AWS and AzureDemonstrated ability to continuously learn and interest in emergent technologies and AIPosted Salary RangeUSD $175,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.Employee PerksEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate DiscountsLearning & Development platform, to include certification preparation contentTraining, Education and Certification Assistance*Referral Bonus ProgramInternal Mobility ProgramPet InsuranceFlexible Work Environment*Available to full-time employeesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
