Sales Associate II

What you'll be doing?As the Sales associate, you will be the brand ambassador and a smiling face of DFS. You will work on the most important role in the sales floor, and be the first direct conduit between our Products and our Customers. You will build the customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with the sales and productivity targets.Selling via the Best Customer ExperienceAssist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer serviceComplete customer transactions in a professional and timely mannerIdentify customer's temperaments and recommend products that suit their styleRespond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriateAssist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to the minimumFloor and Product PresentationEnsure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirementsMaintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the departmentBe familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriateAssist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities and merchandise stock flowIdeal CandidateHigh School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobMinimum 1 year's sales or cashiering experience in a retail environmentProficient with handling a POS register machineAble to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environmentHigh energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilitiesAbility to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessaryFluency in English language and other language(s) as required by locationSecondary language speaking beneficial, but not requiredHourly Rate from $24.50 to $31.25
