This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role with a stable, family-oriented company that has built a strong reputation delivering complex commercial and K-12 education projects.The company is in a major growth phase — expanding operations, increasing revenue year-over-year, and building toward future regional expansion. Leadership is looking for a proactive, organized, field-savvy Project Manager who can independently drive projects forward, build strong GC relationships, and keep multiple jobs operating efficiently and profitably.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced commercial construction environment, enjoys balancing both strategic oversight and day-to-day execution, and wants long-term growth potential into senior leadership.What You’ll Do:Manage 5–12 commercial masonry projects simultaneously ranging from approximately $100K–$12MOversee projects from turnover through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and executionReview blueprints, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, and scope documents for accuracy and constructabilityCoordinate directly with general contractors, field superintendents, vendors, and internal teamsHandle RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and retainage collectionsPerform second material take-offs after estimating handoffMonitor labor productivity, schedules, costs, and profitability across multiple active jobsitesConduct regular site visits throughout the Houston region and surrounding marketsLead project meetings and maintain strong client-facing communicationSupport quality control, safety compliance, scheduling coordination, and successful project closeoutsHelp drive operational efficiency while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partnersTools & Software:ProcoreMicrosoft Office SuitePlanGrid / Autodesk Construction CloudBluebeam (preferred)MS Project (preferred)Tradesman estimating software knowledge preferred but trainableCompensation & Perks:Base salary: $125,000–$140,000Annual performance bonus potential: $50K–$75K$800/month vehicle allowanceRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesSchedule:Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PMPrimarily onsite at office and project locationsLocal travel throughout the Greater Houston region and nearby marketsBenefits:Medical insurance with 100% employee premium paid by employerDental and vision coverage included401(k) with company match up to 4%Paid vacation and company holidaysWhy People Stay:Family-oriented leadership team with long employee tenureStrong company culture focused on trust, accountability, and teamworkRelaxed, professional environment with a “get the job done” mentalityTeam lunches and strong camaraderie across the organizationSignificant long-term growth opportunity as the company expands into new Texas marketsPotential future path into senior operations or executive leadershipRequirements:Must-Have Qualifications:Minimum 4+ years of commercial masonry project management experienceStrong understanding of commercial masonry systems and materials including:Brick, Block / CMU, Stone / Cast Stone, Thin brick and thin stone systems, Reinforcing, anchors, ties, and related materialsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environmentExperience reviewing construction plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawingsExperience with: RFIs, Submittals, Change orders, Job costing, Project closeouts, Retainage collectionsCommercial GC background with relevant project experience also consideredExperience with education, healthcare, municipal, industrial, or large commercial projectsConstruction Management or Engineering degree preferred but not requiredKnowledge of scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and productivity trackingExperience with Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or MS Project
